FBC is Canada’s largest farm and small business tax specialist. We provide a specialized in-home farm and business tax service that is second to none.

 

We are currently seeking an energetic and engaging Marketing Specialist with savvy and know-how in the digital realm. This position is based out of our office in London, ON and reports to our Director of Marketing.

 

As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you will provide a presence and a voice for FBC in the markets we serve, designing and executing digital marketing strategies, promoting the FBC brand across social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), developing content to build brand recognition and manage company reputation, and dialoguing with Members and potential Members over digital media.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Our Digital Marketing Specialist will manage FBC’s social media platforms/applications and:

 

  • Position FBC as the only choice for our target market through compelling copywriting, graphics and thought leadership articles
  • Partner with Product Managers to raise the visibility of FBC by delivering meaningful content via the right digital channels to reach target audiences
  • Collect and analyze data related to social media marketing campaigns, using analytics software, to demonstrate effectiveness and return on investment
  • Recommend changes to improve business results based on social media metrics
  • Assist in identifying appropriate social media channels for social media efforts and tailor campaigns to each channel’s audience
  • Monitor and update social media channels, engage with the community in real-time and support the Marketing team by managing the creation of engaging multimedia assets (including graphics and videos)
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, may be assigned as required

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education and Experience

 

  • A post-secondary education, college diploma or university degree, preferably in a marketing-related field or relevant and equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing social media strategies
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other tools for campaign measurement
  • Proven success with executing effective marketing campaigns

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, marketing automation, Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising, and social media
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and marketing automation software
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop and Illustrator)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly Skilled at writing compelling content
  • Advanced knowledge of online blogs, boards and social media sites
  • Adept at running multiple projects successfully and managing priorities
  • Quickly identifies current and relevant trends in digital/online “conversations” including topics and forums, and responds appropriately to opportunities to participate and engage
  • Communicates concisely and with clarity
  • Listens to understand our prospects’ points of view and leverages that information to appeal to the market
  • Strong team and collaboration skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and desire to complete tasks and projects on time
