One day you are in the office speaking to our valued Members about their business needs, the next day you are learning about a new product and how it will benefit FBC Members, the next you are collaborating with the operations group to sell and deliver a value-added service to FBC Members.

    As our Value Added Product Specialist you know the ins and outs of all FBC products and how Members benefit from each and every one. You thrive on educating Members on the specific services what will help them better manage their business and their tax information. You enjoy building relationships with FBC Members and getting them signed up for services such as payroll, bookkeeping and legal.  Your mission is to make sure every Member gets the services they need to achieve their goals.

     

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

    • Ensure customers understand our products and services
    • Enjoy solving customer problems – you take accountability for their issues
    • Comfortable taking action and showing initiative
    • Take pride in their work environment and wants to see the team succeed
    • Act as a brand ambassador and a product educator
    • Ability to learn about new and existing products as well as educate customers on specific products that meet their business needs
    • Strong networking skills with the ability to build relationships over the phone

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Be the expert in FBC products; build Member profiles for each product and implement plans to connect with Members
    • Proactively reach out to Members to educate, develop and maintain relationships to generate interest in and sell FBC products
    • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
    • Work in a fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking
    • Talk straight, build trust, and always deliver

     

    QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

    • A 2-year accounting, business administration or marketing diploma and/or equivalent work experience
    • Proficient working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products
    • Experience in customer sales and service     
    • Experience in payroll or bookkeeping would be considered an asset

     

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

    • Work is performed in an office environment, on the phone and with computers
