Farm Business Consultants (FBC) is seeking a highly personable and energetic Receptionist to join us in our Grande Prairie, AB office.

     

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    As Director of First Impressions, you are an integral part of the FBC team.  You are one of the first points of contact with our Members, responsible for answering Members calls and greeting Members in the office to enhance their experience with FBC. This entry level role is a great opportunity for someone looking to start and build their career in customer service.

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     As our Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

    • Managing a multi-line switchboard
    • For exceeding customer service expectations with our Members
    • Preparing correspondence and entering data into internal databases and tracking systems
    • Updating job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational/training opportunities
    • Maintaining and ordering office supplies
    • Assist Branch Administrator as needed

     

     QUALIFICATIONS

     Education and Experience

    • Previous Customer Service or Receptionist experience (1+ years)

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Exceptional listening skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Able to manage multiple incoming calls at peak times
    • Have an aptitude for learning new software and computer systems
    • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications
