Position Overview

 

As Regional Operations Manager, Southwestern Ontario, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage our history and build a legacy in the region. This role focuses on enhancing client relationships, strengthening business community connections, ensuring service and product delivery excellence, and driving local sales and marketing efforts. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll start with a team of over 20. How you grow from there is up to you!

 

Please note that this position will report to our London, Ontario branch office. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Develop and Maintain Strong Member (Client) Relationships

  • Build and nurture relationships within the local business community.
  • Address Member needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products to Members.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve service delivery and Member experience.

Drive Business Growth

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • In collaboration with the marketing team, strategize and implement plans to drive business growth within Southwestern Ontario.
  • Plan and execute local sales and marketing activities.

Lead and Develop Your Team

  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment.

 

What you Will Bring

 

Experience

  • Leadership with professional services teams, ideally within tax or accounting.
  • Proven success in business growth, sales, and marketing.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in staff recruitment, development, and performance management.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Business or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation & accounting software, preferably with Taxprep and Xero. iFirm knowledge would be desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to on occasion meet with Members, attend events, and participate in leadership meetings.
