Position Overview

 

As our Regional Tax Supervisor, you’ll oversee Tax Advisor teams across our Kelowna, BC and Grande Prairie, AB locations, traveling regularly within the region to support staff, strengthen client relationships, and drive business results. You have a keen eye for detail and a drive to go above and beyond to ensure your teams are set up for success. This role focuses on enhancing Member experiences, supporting local sales and marketing initiatives, and expanding business growth regionally.

Reporting to the Pacific Regional Manager, you will manage and mentor a team of Tax Advisors and collaborate closely with Customer Service teams across the region. This position requires travel throughout the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Lead and Develop Your Team

  • Recruit, coach, and develop team members across multiple locations to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a positive, motivating, and collaborative work environment region-wide.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource, providing guidance on complex cases and best practices.

Deliver on Renewal & New Business Targets

  • Monitor team production and performance across the region through regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance metrics.
  • Strategically manage appointment booking and forecasting to optimize efficiency and results across all teams.
  • Support teams in addressing Member concerns and escalations promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives for team members across the region.

Develop and Maintain Strong Member Relationships

  • Build and nurture relationships with Members and business contacts throughout the region.
  • Ensure high-quality service and product delivery to Members.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve service delivery and enhance the Member experience.

 

Drive Regional Business Growth

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across the region.
  • Plan and execute regional sales and marketing initiatives to grow the business and expand Member engagement.

 

What You Will Bring

 

Education and Experience

  • Leadership experience with professional services teams, ideally within tax or accounting.
  • Proven success in business growth, sales, or marketing.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills across multiple locations.
  • Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing staff performance regionally.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software; Taxprep and Xero considered a bonus.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strategic business perspective.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to translate insights into action.

 

Other Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
  • Attend Member meetings, community and business events, and leadership meetings across multiple locations.
