Position Overview 

 

As a key member of the team, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for collaborating with clients and the team to deliver measurable value to our clients. You’ll give Clients confidence that they have accurate and up-to-date books and meet their reporting compliance requirements. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain accurate financial records for Clients, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable/receivable, and tracking cash flow.
  • Prepare financial reports, assist with month-end/year-end close, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support audits or Client inquiries.
  • Collaborate and answer questions from clients and staff regarding Bookkeeping.

 

What you bring 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or comparable hands-on experience, is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping software.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to delivery high quality and accurate work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven time management skills, balancing competing priorities to deliver on time.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyze unique scenarios and provide customized recommendations.
