We are seeking a passionate Tax Advisor Supervisor with a strong coaching mindset and a proven track record of building high-performing teams. As Tax Advisor Supervisor, You will play a key part in shaping the organization’s presence within the region. You’ll bring strong leadership and business acumen to support and grow a high-performing team, with a focus on driving production, achieving results, and strengthening client relationships.

 

Reporting to the Pacific & S.W. Ontario Regional Manager, you will manage and mentor a team of Tax Advisors and collaborate closely with Customer Service teams across the region. This position requires occasional travel throughout the region.

 

 Key Responsibilities

 Lead and Develop Your Team

  • Recruit, coach, train, and develop staff to build and maintain a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive, motivating, and accountable work environment.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and team sessions to monitor performance and provide feedback.

Deliver on Renewal & New Business Targets

  • Manage staff performance, productivity, and sales activities.
  • Work with the appointment booking team to strategically forecast and maximize opportunities.
  • Guide staff in handling membership concerns and resolving escalations.
  • Oversee training and development programs to support continuous growth.

Develop and Maintain Strong Member Relationships

  • Build and nurture relationships with Members and business contacts throughout the region.
  • Ensure high-quality service and product delivery to Members.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve service delivery and enhance the Member experience.

 Drive Regional Business Growth

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across the region.
  • Leverage experience to drive team performance in sales, renewals, and value-added service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, workflow and deliver measurable operational outcomes

 What You Will Bring

 Education and Experience

  • Leadership experience in professional services teams, ideally within tax or accounting.
  • Experience with accounting or tax-related software is considered an asset, preference toward Taxprep or Zero.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing operational efficiency, managing team performance, and achieving business objectives.
  • Track record of building, mentoring, and leading teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and efficiency in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

 Other Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally within the region.

This role receives a base salary and is eligible for a variable, performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience, skills, education, and relevant expertise. Bonus eligibility is determined by individual and company performance metrics.
